Dr. Kelley DeGroff

Associate Veterinarian

I was born in Torrance, California and spent my childhood years in Arizona, Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, and New Mexico. I spent my undergraduate years at a small hometown college called New Mexico Tech and earned a bachelors in Biology in 1993.

I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where I enjoyed skiing and backpacking in some of the most beautiful spots in the country. Vet school was a blur of activity which included an externship in Mesa as well as at Harrison Memorial, a low-cost veterinary facility in Denver. I belonged to the student chapter of AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) and obtained my DVM in 1997.

I practiced general small animal medicine and surgery for 20 years at a busy practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. My areas of interest include feline medicine utilizing fear free handling techniques, nutrition and supplements for optimal health, and dentistry. I belong to both AAFP and the AVMA and moved to the Phoenix Valley in 2016.

My husband, son and I share our lives with three cats (Mac, Pita and Lil Zan) and a paralyzed shih tzu named Brandi. Brandi enjoys sleeping under my desk in the office.
