Lori Boos, Customer Service Representative
Lori Boos was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She attended Bethany College in West Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. Shortly after graduation Lori visited college friends in Colorado Springs and relocated there the following year. It was there that she began a career in the Construction Industry as a receptionist/ bookkeeper/accountant. When she left her job in Colorado Springs, she moved to Durango, CO where she freelanced her accounting skills and volunteered as a ski instructor with the Durango/Purgatory Handicapped Sports Association teaching mentally and physically challenged individuals to ski. In 1987, Lori left Durango, took up residence in Fountain Hills and was back in the financial end of construction. Upon semi-retirement in 2014, Lori joined the staff of Fountain Hills Veterinary Hospital in a part time capacity as receptionist.
According to her Mother, Lori’s lifelong love affair with dogs began at the early age of two when, upon checking out of a grocery store, she found Lori sitting on the ground with her arms around a tethered German Shepard. Lori calls FHVH her happy place…where she interacts with dogs, cats and the people that love them. Lori has three furkids: Kayoss and Ka-tet (chows) and Muffin (kitty). Her days off are often spent grooming (no surprise). Her interests are photography, golf, travel and she is an avid reader.
